I am an independent trainer/tester for MT CNAs (and MAs) at my lab & Serenity Care in Miles City, MT.
The MT exam pass-rate for my online CNA class is
100% the first time; I make sure my students know the material
well before I will pass them in my class. Flexibility, small class size, individual attention & low cost are pluses
of my program. I provide tutoring as needed but no longer teach entirely on-site classroom.
Lab/clinical is completed here in Miles City OR at any MT-
approved facility with an approved instructor.
I began nursing as a nurse aide at 16yo,
progressing to LPN status, and graduating from the University of Utah with a BSN (RN). In my opinion,
the most rewarding work in nursing is that often delegated to CNAs. Both my daughters went through CNA training.
One has been working as a CNA part-time her last 3 years of high school and plans to go to nursing school. The other
is working as a home health aide and attending school in Australia. Both girls value and think everyone should
have the experience of this kind of work.
My Dad has been providing NA care for my totally dependent
Mom with MS for ~18 years, 24/7/365, one awesome man! The fall I started college, my Mom was diagnosed 2 weeks after
informing me that a former MS patient in my care (and whom Dad and Mom helped me take to the previous
4th of July fireworks prior) died of a bowel impaction (totally preventable with good NA care).
The care delegated to CNAs is the MOST IMPORTANT HEALTH CARE.
